Catherine, Princess of Wales, looked lovely in a bright casual look for the second day of King Charles III’s coronation weekend.
Ahead of last night’s Coronation Concert, the Prince and Princess of Wales made a surprise appearance at The Big Lunch at Windsor this afternoon. The event was one of several street fairs taking place nationwide to celebrate the coronation festivities. William and Kate chatted and took selfies with partygoers along The Long Walk outside Windsor Castle.
For the day party, Kate wore a light blue linen blazer by Reiss, layered over a simple white top tucked into black slacks. She finished the look with a pair of pristine white sneakers from Veja, adding pearl drop earrings and her sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring. Her signature dark brown hair was worn loose and lightly curled.
The princess was a vision at yesterday’s Westminster Abbey ceremony and carriage procession, where she paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana in a look fit for a future queen. She arrived at the ceremony in an ivory silk crepe gown by Alexander McQueen, adorned with silver bullion and embroidery featuring rose, thistle, daffodil, and shamrock motifs. She wore a blue formal robe over the dress, at the monarch’s request, and matched it with royal-blue crystal-embellished Aquazzura heels.
Her stunning accessories included the George VI Festoon Necklace, which was made in 1950 at the request of King George VI for his daughter, the then-Princess Elizabeth; and pearl-and-diamond earrings which once belonged to Diana, the former Princess of Wales. Her hair was styled in an elegant updo and she did not wear a tiara; instead, she wore a Jess Colett x Alexander McQueen headpiece with silver bullion, crystal, and a silver threaded three-dimensional leaf embroidery.
