No. 1 LSU baseball’s series finale against No. 6 South Carolina has been moved back to Saturday due to inclusion weather in Columbia.
The teams were scheduled to play a doubleheader on Friday after Saturday’s Game 3 was moved up to Friday due to inclement weather in the forecast. But bad weather following Game 2 of the series pushed Game 3 back to Saturday at its originally scheduled date and time.
The Tigers (26-5, 7-4 SEC) split the first two games of the series with the Gamecocks after coming back from a 7-3 deficit in the eighth inning of Game 2 on Friday to win 8-7.
South Carolina (28-4, 9-2) won Game 1 of the series in convincing fashion, 13-5.
A two-out grand slam from Gavin Dugas in the eighth inning tied the game for LSU on Friday. After Riley Cooper and Gavin Guidry combined to throw a scoreless bottom of the eighth, Cade Beloso poked an RBI single to give LSU the lead.

Guidry then closed out the game with a scoreless ninth inning.
LSU lost the first game of the series in convincing fashion on Thursday, 13-5.
